- Automated content production + distribution

- Live and still generating revenue

The challenge
I built a Life in the UK Test preparation website, but there was one problem: nobody could find it.
The market was already dominated by established websites with years of SEO behind them. Competing on Google would take too long, and paid advertising didn't make sense for a low-priced product.
The obvious alternative was social media. But creating and uploading videos every day would take hours, and I did not want to show my face.
So I automated the process.
The solution
I built a system that turns test questions into finished short-form videos.
I created a bank of 600+ questions and answers, which became the foundation for the quiz website, the videos and the paid products.
The content engine then automatically:
- creates the voiceover
- generates the video visuals
- combines everything into a finished video
- publishes the video
Under the hood
- ElevenLabs voices the intro, where production value matters most.
- Amazon Polly voices the quiz question, the answer and the explanation.
- HTML Canvas turns the text into image frames: question, options, answer reveal.
- The system then stitches the images with the audio, timing each frame to the length of the narration, so on screen the question and options appear to change and the answer reveals itself.
This meant I could produce content at scale without manually recording a single video.
Turning attention into revenue
The audience wasn't the end goal. Followers were directed towards paid products, including:
- 223+ PDF sales on Etsy ↗
- 30+ course sales through my own platform
When Udemy rejected the course because of its AI-generated voice, I simply moved the course to my own platform instead, with the videos served through Bunny private video hosting.
The results
- 10,000 TikTok followers in 3 months.
- 100+ videos published without manual recording.
- £1,500+ in revenue, with sales continuing after the initial build.
More importantly, I created a repeatable system:
Why it worked
- A different route to market. Instead of competing directly with established SEO players, I went where the feed rewards volume and consistency.
- Automation made consistency possible without spending hours creating content.
- One content library powered multiple products: the quiz website, the videos, the PDFs and the course.
- The system kept working after the initial build, creating ongoing traffic and sales.
Could this work for your business?
If you need more visibility but don't have the time or resources to build a content team, tell me what you're selling. It could be driving theory test prep, or a simple course you currently sell through Google Drive. I can build a website like MyUKTest.co.uk where you host your videos behind a paywall and charge as much as you want for the course. I'll tell you honestly whether automation could make the numbers work.
